Add this blog to your Google Toolbar

February 3, 2006

The latest version of the Google Toolbar has a pretty cool and simple API that lets you create custom buttons for the Google Toolbar (version 4 and above) using XML. Buttons can navigate to and search a site, display an RSS feed in a menu, and change their icon dynamically. To learn more about creating your own custom button, check out this guide to get started.

If you have the latest Google Toolbar and want to add my blog to it, click this link. If you add my button, you will be able to view my RSS feed and Search my blog directly from the Google Toolbar. I cannot wait for the FireFox version of this toolbar

If you want to create your own button, here’s the XML for my button:

	<button>
		<title>Vinny Carpenter's blog</title>
		Java Geek in search of a clever and creative tag line 🙂
